My name is Killi deCastongrene. My students call me Mrs. "d" because my name is so long and some say it's hard to pronounce. My first name is pronounce Key-Lee and my last name well...
Here's a little bit about me. I am a native Texan originally from Beaumont. Staying home for college, I attended Lamar University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Electrical Engineering. My first job out of school was with Dow Chemical. During this time, I completed an MBA in International Business from the University of Houston. After leaving Dow, I worked in the software industry, eventually transferring to Southern California. After spending 20 years in the software industry starting as a programmer and then moving into customer facing roles working with large corporate accounts in the South and Southwestern states, I moved back to Austin where I embarked on my most rewarding career - teaching students! |

In 2001, while living in the beautiful artsy town of Laguna Beach, I married my wonderful husband Martin and several years later adopted
our lovable dog Ilsa. On St. Patrick's Day of 2015, we added a new member to our family, the cutest kitten in the litter, Chloe Clover.
